Broadband connectivity for Asia-Pacific Least Developed Countries

Leveraging investment in broadband for national development in Vanuatu

Auckland, New Zealand – November 10, 2017

Network Strategies’ Director Dr Suella Hansen was invited by the United Nations to speak at a Least Developed Country Asia-Pacific regional meeting in October 2017.

Suella presented case study evidence to illustrate the economic impact of investment in broadband, and examined alternative funding models, including Public-Private Partnerships.

The meeting was held in Port Vila, Vanuatu, and was attended by representatives of Government, regulatory bodies and service providers from the region, as well as independent experts from around the globe.
